| one of my friend took a personal loan on his credit card from the barckalys bank. The amount of the loan is three time the limit of the credit card. Now due to some reason he is not able to make d payment. what he will do. Bank did not get him any cheques against this loan...this is totally based on the credit card limit and on telephonic communication. What action can take bank against him...is their any settlement procedure. Plz mail me d anser as soon as possible. regards. | |

| Banks can and will legally
report you as a defaulter - to the extent of the dues foregone by them -
at the credit bureau. All details concerning your default stay at the credit
bureau for 7 years. In this period, anytime you apply for a home loan, personal
loan or a credit card the details of your default will
show up during the verification process and it becomes highly unlikely that any
lender will lend you credit. Never go for a settlement . As settlement will also result in making you a defaulter. For more click on Effects of settlement. |
