Date : Apr 14, 2008 Question Hi Sir , I had applied for a personal Loan from ICICI Bank in the year 2006 amounting to RS 1 lac and the Duration perion was was three years .. Now during the Initial periopd of the Loan there was a problem with the ECS feature and becuse of which the loan amt did nt go through on time and this happened 2-3 times or rather I should say ECS bounced .Now as I earlier mentioned the loan amt was for 3 yrs ,Now after that I repayed the complete amount of the loan in approx 2 yrs ..I wanted toapply for a loan again and someone told me that because of the ECS issue that I had before I would nt be eligible for the loan again .. Just wanted your advise on this and wanted to know if there is any other option that I can go for .. Answer Ideally there should no problem for you to get a personal loan. In case a bank rejects your application you can try and convince the bank about the issue.
