SBT signs MoU with Crisil

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Crisil for rating Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

As per the MoU, Crisil will provide rating services to SBT's clients at a concessional fee.

The agreement with Crisil is part of the bank's ongoing initiatives to help in the development of SMEs. SBT has been recognized at the national level for excellence in lending to the small sector.

The bank has five exclusive SME branches in Kerala which regularly conducts Entrepreneurship Development Programmes for specific groups in order to equip them toward entrepreneurship.
