SBI to focus more on customers

India’s largest public sector bank, SBI has
launched Project Parivarthan to sensitise its 1.3 lakh employees on better
customer relations and services, after it market shares declined.
SBI will focus more on customer friendliness and services during this 100-day project. SBI’s market share in deposits had declined from 17.08 per cent as on March 31, 2005 to 15.38 per cent as on December 31, 2006, while its share in advances has come down from 16.33 per cent on March 31, 2005 to 15.55 per cent as on March 30, 2007. |
