Central Bank of India signs MoU with ICRA

Central Bank of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICRA, wherein it will assign ratings to the Central Bank's loans and other exposures.

This is a move under the standardized approach of RBI's New Capital Adequacy Framework for Base-II.

ICRA's rating will be carried out under its 'Line of Credit' rating service and will enable Central Bank to assign the new risk weights applicable to its borrowers under Basel-II.
