The real estate business has had the rising costs of construction as a major concern.
Adding to this list is the rising cost of vitrified and floor tiles. Now, it
is mandatory for the ceramic manufacturers to show the actual MRP (maximum
retail price). The MRP
has been increased by around 100 per cent on vitrified tiles to ensure that the
tax is paid. There has been a 50-75 per cent hike in the cost of floor and roof
tiles. The MRP
on the vitrified tiles box of average quality was Rs. 350-400, as against the
actual price of Rs 700-800, the DGCEI official said. Industry
insiders predict an increase of 10 per cent in the cost of tiles, come May
2008. Click on the link to know more about home loans: http://www.apnaloan.com/home-loan-india/index.html
