Realty industry alleges steel, cement cartalisation

The real estate industry has raised its voice against the simultaneous increase of cement and steel prices. The developers and those associated with the realty industry alleged cartelisation of the steel and the cement companies. They added that this accounted for increase in cost of construction and hit the consumers.

National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) which is a real estate development and promotion council under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation made the observation.
