State Bank of Travancore to offer construction loan

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has introduced a loan scheme that can serve the dual purpose of construction on free-space on a residential property as well as providing hostel accommodation of students.

Under this construction loan scheme, residential property owners who has vacant space near colleges, hospitals and IT parks, can utilize this space for building hostels.

According to media reports, this loan will have 'liberal' terms and conditions of collateral security and interest rates.
