Realty developers offer festival discounts to buyers

By 12 October, 2007, many real estate developers in the major metros are expected to  offer discount of 2-20 per cent for the festive period that will stretch upto Diwali.

The discounts offers will be over and above the freebies that are already being offered. The home-buyers can also expect surprise gifts and even gold coins, according to media reports.

SVP group is offering a 2 per cent discount starting from navratras to continue until Diwali, the Eros group has discount offers of 21 per cent if customers book in their projects on down payment.

Raheja Developers have reduced the prices of its rates for its project in Manesar by Rs 100, bringing down the price from Rs 2,375 to Rs 2,275 per sq ft for the festive period.

Mapsko is giving a 10 per cent discount plus surprise gifts to all customers who book space in their residential and commercial projects in Sonepat.

TDI and Omaxe are giving gold coins to customers on booking space in some specific projects. TDI is also giving a 10 per cent discount on the balance down payment of customers who might even have booked plots in TDI City, Kundli sometime back.

Builders say that discounts may show a jump in sales figures of many projects by as much as 75-80 per cent during the festive period.
