Realty price hike in Pune

Prices of real estate in Pune are set to soar as as developers in Pune plan to increase the per square foot (sft) charges for residential construction by Rs 50 to Rs 400.

The price hike is attributed to increase in prices of steel and cement along with the revised development and premium charges levied by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

Promoters & Builders Association Of Pune (PBAP) represents more than 80 per cent of Pune's real estate developers. It has come out with a report that suggests ways to tackle the hike.
