Central bank reduces home loan interest rates by 25-50 basis points

Public-sector bank, Central bank of India has slashed interest rate on home loans for loans under Rs. 20 lakh.

The revised rates on floating rate home loan have been cut by 25 basis points to be at 9.25 per cent, from 10 per cent.

The fixed interest rate on housing loans has been reduced by 50 basis points, from 10.50 per cent to 10 per cent.
