Builders foresee no property price correction

According to media reports most builders foresee no prices correction in property prices. The comment is based on the age old demand and supply equation.

Mr R.S. Ajmera, President, Confederation of Real-Estate Developers' Associations of India, New Delhi was quoted in a media report saying that buyers were being cautious against the backdrop of the economic situation but prices are unlikely to drop due to demand.

The demand is also high in case of luxury and premium housing where pricing is not a concern. So, prices are not expected to drop. It is expected that if the product is properly placed in terms of location, quality and pricing, there is no lack of demand.
