Berkeley Group enters realty with Realtech

Berkeley Group, which has presence in sectors such as automobiles, insurance and finance has ventured into real estate.

This Chandigarh based firm has launched a subsidiary known as 'Berkeley Realtech' which will initially offer only lease solutions to corporate houses and at a later stage, venture into construction services such as construction management and interior design projects.

This group which has interests in several sectors has a current turnover of Rs. 400 crore. The company seeks to increase it to Rs. 1000 crore by end of 2008-09.
