Taxmen raid Oberoi builders

Income Tax officials raided the Oberoi builder offices in Mumbai on July 19 after some discrepancy was found in the returns filed with the office. The search was conducted in 24 of their offices at Andheri, Juhu, Goregaon, Worli, Jogeshwari and Malad, among others.

According to media reports, the Oberoi’s residence, company office and major buildings were also searched. The search started in the morning and went on till night. However, more details were not available.
