Vijaya bank reduces interest rates on home, education loans

Vijaya Bank has reduced interest rates on several retail loan products by 25-50 basis points, effective from February 15, 2008.

Interest rates have been reduced by 25 basis points on floating rate home loans of Rs. 20 lakh for 5 years from 9.25 per cent to 9 per cent.

Interest rate on education loans up to Rs. 4 lakh have been reduced to 11.50 per cent from 12 per cent.
