NIFT set up in Shillong, academic courses from 2008

NIFT announced its proposal to set up the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Shillong in 2008. The first session would start from June-July 2008.

The centre will offer short-term as well long post-graduate courses of 2 and 4 years. The institute will initially take 40 students per course.
