Italy & GOI to set up leather training unit in Kolkata

Italy has proposed to set up a training and service centre for leather tanning in Kolkata. by the end of the year 2008.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed in February 2007 between the Italian Trade Commission, the Indian Council of Leather Exports and Assomac of Italy in 2007.
