The Engineering College set up by Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL)   known as O. P. Jindal Institute of Technology (OPJIT) at Raigarh is nearing completion and will be on roll in the coming academic session.  

The institute will offer 4-years Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Metallurgy Engineering. The first batch would enroll 1000 students. The institute is coming up in 30 acres of land in the O P Jindal Industrial Park at Punjipathara in Raigarh.
