IIT B.Tech, M.Tech tuition fee to increase to Rs. 50,000 yearly

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has said on April 23, 2008 that the Standing Committee of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Council (SCIC) had recommended the increase of tuition fee to Rs 50,000 per year for B Tech and M Tech courses.
