Helicopter stimulation park set up in Bangalore; CAE-HAL JV

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has entered into a joint venture project with Canada-based aviation company, CAE to set up a helicopter simulation park in Bangalore. 

The joint venture, with an initial investment of Rs 240 crore,is being developed on five acres. Flying training will be provided on the Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv. 

Pilots will be initially trained on a universal simulator. These simulators help pilots to experience different kinds of effects while inside an artificial cockpit. They can attempt various manoeuvres and combat profiles while staying safely on the ground.
