SBI plans to host SBI branches for distribution of cards

SBI cards plans to distribute credit cards from State Bank of India branches from June onwards. As  reported by the Business Line, the SBI Card’s Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Nirupan Sahay said "We are working closely with Sate Bank if India to leverage the branch channel for increasing the company’s reach and expand customer base substantially."

The company is a joint venture between Sate Bank of India and GE Money. A host of SBI branches have been identified for distribution of credit cards which  will be operational by June.
