GM to roll out Tavera variant

General Motors (GM) is likely to roll out variants of its multi-utility vehicle (MUV) Chevrolet Tavera.

The move is to remain in competition in the MUV market with players such as the Toyota Innova, Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Sumo, and Tata Safari.

The company plans to upgrade the existing features of the Tavera, including the engine. Currently, the Tavera is equally popular in cab and personal use segment.
