'Small car will compete with motorbikes'

Maruti believes that the Rs 1 lakh car small car
will be a competition for motorbikes. Jagadish Khattar, MD, Maruti Suzuki said
that the small car will be more a threat to two-wheeler makers than car makers.
He was addressing the shareholders of his company at its annual general
meeting. Media reports quoted him saying, “Every company has its own strategy and if we keep on reacting to them, our own strategy would fail. We kept on saying in the past, and even now foreign experts and analysts are saying the same thing.†|
