Skoda launches new Superb variant at Rs 20.41 lakh

Skoda India has launched a new variant of its
luxury sedan ‘Superb Comfort’ at a price of Rs 20.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi),
in New Delhi on September 20, 2007. The new Superb is nearly Rs 2 lakh lower
then the existing model Superb Elegante
diesel. Media quoted Karsten Bogun, Managing Director (commercial), Skoda India saying, “As a part of our new variant strategy to strengthen our position in the D segment, we have introduced Superb Comfort with some modified features and at a lower price than the existing versions. This will broaden the range under Superb to suit the changing requirements of customers today.†According to media reports, the automatic variant of Skoda Superb Comfort is powered by a 2.5 litre TDi engine and would sport various safety features such as airbags, rain sensors, ABS, climate control AC among others. The company also sell a 2.8 litre petrol engine powered Superb. |
