TVS Motor relaunches Flame

TVS Motor Company has relaunched Flame, a 125cc motorbike, with a single-spark plug ignition system.

The move comes in the wake of the Madras High Court restraining the company from making and selling Flame using the controversial twin-spark plug system.

The new Flame is powered by three-valve CCVTi engine technology. The modified Flame comes with a price tag of Rs. 46000 (ex-showroom).

The 600-odd Flame vehicles that are lying with the dealers will also be reconfigured with single-spark plug ignition.

The Company expects to boost its sales volumes and strengthen its presence in the executive segment with the launch of Flame.
