DaimlerChrysler India plans to launch buses by next year

DaimlerChrysler India Pvt Ltd, is planning to launch premium buses in the
country during the next calendar year, said media
reports. At the launch of the CL-Class Mercedes-Benz in New Delhi on Saturday, managing director and CEO of DaimlerChrysler India Wilfried Aulbur said that the company was looking at the truck and bus segments in the country. “The chassis components of the bus would be imported from Germany, and the body would be built by a Jalandhar-based company as per specifications,†he added. |
