BMW to source engines and chassis from India

BMW is looking to source parts for engines and chassis for its high-end two-wheelers from India.

The Company is already sourcing handle bars and die casts among other parts for its high-end motorcycles through its International Purchasing Office (IPO) which was set up in India in 2007.

BMW has been sourcing much of its software from India as well as closely working with vendors such as Mico Bosch and Conti.
