BMW to set up a 'pavillion'

BMW India is setting up a 'pavilion' in Janpath, Spread over 3,000 Sq. Ft.,
the studio will be inaugurated in July to l showcase the BMW brand. The company
will sell its marquee models in the studio. Auto segment insiders say
the pavilion is expected to take the experience of shopping for cars in India
to a whole new level that matching with Europe and the US, both in terms of
design and ambience, as well as with the range of vehicles on display. The BMW
Studio is also expected to stock merchandise bearing the brand's unmistakable
logo. For the
rented space alone, the company is shelling out over Rs. 1 crore a year. The company is clearly betting
big on the pavilion and expects a 44 per cent increase in sales this year. |
