| i have a 3 lac personal loan from ICICI bank which i took in may 2006 at 9%. although the rates have increased now i still pay same EMI for same duration. does it mean that they havent increased the rates for me. is it possible? i also have a home loan at 11%. i have 2 lac cash with me and want to prepay either home loan or personal loan. as home loan has higher interest than personal loan should i prepay home loan? | |

| The revised rates are applicable only to new customers and not old customers. Which is why your rate of interest is the same and has not increased. Prepay the loan that has the highest interest rate. | |
