Andhra Bank, a public sector bank, is one of the pioneer banks in
introducing Credit Cards in India
during the early eighties.
Andhra Bank posted a
business of Rs.68,466 crore as on March 2007 and as a customer base of 1.50
crore. All its branches are computerized and 850 branches are networked under
core banking solution providing. The Bank also provides instant fund transfer
facility through its branches. It also markets
non-life and life insurance products and distributes mutual fund products. The
bank has tied up with State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank
and UTI Bank for letting its customer's access to over 9,000 ATMs spread across
the country.
The bank is active in retail loan segments of home loan, personal loan, car loan,
two-wheeler loan, education loan and credit card.
