I am from Chennai. I purchased home @ Bangalore on Apr-2006. Still it is under-construction. I recieved final income tax statement for Apr-2006 to Mar-2007 for 1 Lac & today I received one more statement for Apr-2007 to Mar-2008 for 1.5 Lacs. Still I am paying Pre - EMI only. I want to know that how I can claim this Pre - EMI from Income tax?
