| dear sir/madam, i ma resident of punjab. i want to know about study loan .as i got the offer letter from abroad unversity and they give me the time till first week of august to secure my admission.so i want to take bak loan approx. 4 lakha.but my dad also took the loan frm bank ealier 4 yrs back. and i have also surrender to bank a colletral sequrity if they want..so please tell me in how much time my this loan process will take.n also tell me what`s the substitute if i m not eligible for study loan.n also there is any private instituation who can give the study loan..waiting for urs reply as soon as possible | |

| You can get an education loan based on the guarantor's income. The eligibility of the course and the affiliation of the institute will also have a bearing on loan eligibility. Banks may not require collateral security for loans up to Rs. 4 lakh. There are other alternatives of funding education without a loan. | |
