Date : May 8, 2008 Question I had credit card of ICICI Bank two years back. When I had applied, I had not mentioned for ADD ON card. But during delivery, I got two cards, one on my name and second add on card on my mother’s name. After 4 to 5 days, the add on card has been stolen from my purse and I was not aware of it. I got a call from ICICI customer care regarding the shopping done from my card; I immediately informed them that I’ve not done any shopping. Next day I immediately informed the Bank and police station about the stolen card. Police has not filed FIR but asked me to write a complaint and made a stamp over there (i.e. intimation report). I have contacted several times to bank after that through fax, courier, emails and post. But they have not responded at all. Around half of the money has been deducted thru ECS as I was expecting some action would be taken but when I got no response from bank; I made my bank account Answer You should immediately complain to the banking ombudsman having jurisdiction over your area.
