| i have come to a settlement for a full and final payement and delayed the payement by one day from the last date, the bank says i now have to make the settlement immediately. iam not in a position right now to make the payement and will be able to make the payement after 3 months. will i have to pay agrred settlement amount or will they charge interest for this period. | |

| Assuming two scenario one is that you have not entered into a settlement, with the bank yet and second one is, you have entered into a settlement with the bank.In the first case we will advise you to pay entire dues, if you are not in a position to pay the dues amount. Take a loan against shares, jewelry, property or insurance policy with a high surrender value. If not take a personal loan and pay off all your dues. And avoid settlement, as settlement is considered as defaulter. Now in the second case if you have entered into a settlement, still pay off the entire dues amount by taking a loan as explained above. At least if you make the full payment now you will be able to explain the the genuinety of the reason and have some chances of getting loans or credit card on decent terms in future. | |
