| I currently have a credit card from ICICI Bank with 80% of the amount outstanding on my card. I've been paying the minimum balance all this while amounting to almost 14k per mth. I have tried to take a personal loan to repay this amount but due to my history with Amex and my name in defaulters list, no bank is willing to extend the loan, please tell me if there is any way out of this situation. It'll help if the amount is converted to a personal loan with a 48 months payment period to reduce my monthly outgo, please suggest a work around | |

| As a defaulter it is difficult to get a personal loan from any of the banks, however, you can take a loan against securities, mutual funds, property , jewelry or LIC policy and pay outstanding amount of your credit card. | |
