| i had withdrawn 5K frm citibank credit card in feb 2006 now outstanding is 19K . i want o know whether my name will be in defaulters list if yes than how can i chk online . if yes, than after paying all amount can i get a personal loan from citibank in near future. please advice as soon as posible. | |

| You will have to pay off the full dues of the bank along with the penal interest. Your name would already have been remarked as a defaulter to the credit bureau. At least if you make the full payment now you will be able explain the default cause to the future lender and have some chances of getting loans or credit card at decent terms in future.If you want a copy of the credit report contact the bank or approach CIBIL to get a copy of your credit report. This right is given to you by Credit Information Companies Regulation Act, 2005. Make the request officially in writing and get an acknowledgement.
