| I have a citi bank credit card. I have missed a couple of times paying the due amount in due time. So i was charged with late payment fees. Of course, the next month i payed of all those things. Will that have any impact on my credit ratings ??? Will that make difficult to get loans in future??? Also, still i posses the card and still i am using and repaying. If at all it is reported to CIBIL, when it is done? After i terminate my relationship with the bank or even before that. How can i get know what is my credit rating is like? Thanks for your help. | |

| As you have paid all the dues it will not impact your credit rating much.But if you don't pay your dues before due date on regular basis or when you go for a settlement with the bank for your outstanding amount,you are considered as a defaulter and you will be reported as a defaulter in CIBIL.Your default stays on the credit bureau's record for 7 years so you will always face an issue in getting a loan even after clearing off your default. .It will impact your credit rating.
