| Dear Sir, My name is sivasankar Yadalam my application for credit card is declined by HDFC bank and ICICI banks due to default clause. Default had happened due to my stay at USA with my son for six months. The arrangement that I had made to repay the dues in my absence was not properly carried out by the care taker though there was balance in the account. Subsequently dues were cleared immediately after my return. Mean while card is with drawn though the reason is genuine. I like to know whether my name is included in the list of defaulter that banks maintain. | |

| As you have defaulted in the payment.Banks much have legally reported you as a defaulter - to the extent of the dues foregone by them - at the credit bureau. Still we advise you to pay the entire outstanding dues.At least if you make the full payment now you will be able explain the genuinety of the reasons why the default happened and have some chances of getting loans or credit cards at decent terms in future. | |
