| I was late on few installment payments so when the bank approached me for a settlement and assured me that it would not affect my credit rating, I accepted it. All settlement payments were cleared on due dates. I now find that the settlement is reported on CIBIL and further loans are declined. Is it possible to have the settlement reversed and pay the balance money so that my record becomes clean? | |

| It is not possible to reverse the settlement. your record will remain in CIBIL for seven years. just make sure that you make you further payments on time and avoid cheque bounces. | |
