| Iam using ICICI CC for more than one year after that they sent two more gold cards. I have regularly paid minimum dues properly. In this year for two months I could't able to pay minimum dues for one gold card. Without prior information they have debited my whole salary from my savings account. Totally Iam using 5 credit cards (other bank cards also). Because of this autodebit Iam unable to pay dues for my other cards. Iam very much disturbed by collection agents during working hours and using harsh words. Now one by one they are autodebiting from my account and Im in a situation to settle all my outstandings of around 2.5Lacs. But Iam unable to get any personal loans as iam a defaulter. I have a flat and it is under loan for more than three years. Due to this problem Iam not able to pay my housing loan also for past six months. Is it possible to refinance my flat and get home loan? Is there any legal act to compalint against the collection agents? | |

| The bank has a legal right to adjust all dues outstanding to it against any other balance that may be lying with it and due to the same consumer. Legally speaking they do not have to consult you before making such an adjustment. However as a normal courtesy most banks will issue you a notice about the amounts outstanding to it before they make such an adjustment. However as already mentioned this is not a legal requirement, as you are a defaulter Your default stays on the credit bureau's record for 7 years so you will always face an issue in getting a loan even after clearing off your default.
