You informed that credit bureaus like CIBIL/Satyam are bound by law to give you information within 30 days of application. This law will come into effect from July 30, 2007. You may also want to verify with them. May I know the web-address or email/contact details of Satyam, where I can apply for my information? I paid the credit card dues to ICICI, without any settlement. CIBIL still shows my name. How do I get it removed? (Sanjeev)

As far as we know, Satyam Credit Bureau does not have a web address yet. You may want to try contact the company through the parent company's website www.satyam.com. You need to get a letter from your bank stating that you have paid all dues without any settlement and show it to CIBIL requesting them to remove the wrong information against your name.
