| I have been banking with Citibank since the last 3 years. I have a bank account, a credit card, a car loan and a personal loan. I had never ever defaulted on any payments till recent. In January, I received my credit card statement that charged me for 2 air tickets booked on my credit card worth Rs. 21, 000. I raised a dispute and was given temporary credit. Then, I was sent a letter which had a proof of purchase from Indiatimes enclosed and a letter from Citibank stating that since the charge was found to be correct, I would have to make the payment and the charge was applied back to my card. Due to these charges, my card went over-limit and they charged me with an over-limit fee and also a Rs 100 for the investigation fee of the charge. I was obviously very angry and tried my level best speaking with the customer care trying to explain that I had not made any such charges. I then stopped making any payments on my accounts. What do I do? | |
