| Hi All, I have been using ABN AMRO credit card since October last year. However till date they have only sent me two bills ( i;e 1 for the month of nov 07 and other for the month of feb08 ) Every month the bank charges me a late payment fee as i do not pay my dues before the dues date. However my concern is that as I do not recieve any bills i do not pay any amount blindly. Every month these people keep on chasing me for the min amount due, but they never tell me the calculation of my bill for that amount. As the bills do not reach me ( insipe of the fact that they have my correct address in their records ) I do not pay any money to them, because i believe that they have been charging me a late payment fee every month and as it not my fault, I should not be paying any late payment charges. Yes, paying the dues always with the late payment charges will impact your credit report which in turns effects your creditworthiness. We will advise you to make a complain on the banking website regarding the bill statement. From now even if the bill statement doesn't reach. Confirm your dues through the banks credit card customer care and pay the dues before the due date and avoid late payment charges. If you are of the opinion to cancel your credit card then first clear all your credit card dues then surrender the card to the bank and get a written acknowledgment from them stating you have canceled the credit card.
