Date : Nov 12, 2008 Question Around 6 months back, I didnt get my credit card statement for a month and the next month statement mentioned levying of late payment and interest charges, which I immediately reported to the bank. The response stretched on for 6 months, during which I paid off my Principal charges but fought on with the bank for the reversal of late payment and interest charges which kept on cumulating. Now the bank has suggested signing a settlement letter with an assurance that this won't affect my credit rating with CIBIL. Pls guide. Answer
