Date : Aug 28, 2008 Question I own credit cards of ABN-AMRO as well as CITIBANK.Due to my onsite assignment to US,I could not make the payments for about 10 months.But, once I came back to India last month,I cleared all the outstanding amounts for both the cards.Also, I have asked both the banks to send me the "NO DUES" statements at earliest which I am expecting to have in next week.Also, I have asked the banks to remove my name from the Satyam database and reflect ZERO outstanding in CIBIL .I am having Credit cards of other Banks where I have been paying the dues without fail since 2005.I have seen a lot of people just going for the one time settlements for the credit cards and getting the loans easily.I have made the full payment.Please advice me, if at all the delayed payment is going to affect me once I will apply for any personal loan or home loan or car loan as I have amde the total payment. Answer
