Date : Aug 8, 2008 Question if my name in cibil becasue i was setteled 4-5 credit cards due to some reason.after that ,i can apply secure credit card through f.d.and bank reject my application and said ur one credit card account on written off status .what is written off? and can i apply secure card in other bank or not,2. how can i remove my name from cibil.3. if i pay all outstaings that bank can give me reversals amount,after that can my name remove from cibil or not.. because i want to improve m,y credit history.. thanks. Write off means that bank has declared noncollectable (such as a loan on a defunct business or a credit card due that is now in default), removing it from their balance sheets. You can apply for a secured credit card with some other bank. You cannot remove your name from the CIBIL defaulter list but you can surely improve it by paying all your due along with all the penal charges and have some chances of getting loans or credit cards at decent terms in future. |
