| Hello Sir, I took a consumer loan from ASF India (citi finance) in 2005-2006. The Loan Amount was 18K. I was paying the EMIs through my DCB Bank via ECS. (EMI was mere Rs. 792/-) ASF India claims that I have 3 EMI's pending. They Once sent their executive (around mid 2006) to my place for collection, I told him, if anything is really due on me, then pls give me the statement of my account so that i can clear the debt. From that day neither that executive nor ASF India persons contacted me for my debt (if any). NO correspondences are sent to my postal address or no reminder letter I received in-between. Now they have put my name at CIBIL. The Report at Citi finance's office at Pune says, I have Rs. 2376 pending towards EMI and Rs. 1500 towards Bouncing charges. But total amount due shown in Report is 78K. I am unable to get any loan from any bank for my Dad's Bypass Surgery. Please suggest me the way out. And was that the legal step that AS | |

| You can get your credit report from the bank that rejects your loan application. The report will outline what exactly is reported by the bank in respect to your credit account and enable you to take action. It will necessarily disclose the facts regarding your credit history, like delayed payments in the past, dues settled without write-offs on the part of the bank. If there is some discrepancies in the credit report you can complain with the banking ombudsman on www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in | |
