| I got pre-approved loan offer on my ICICI a/c & I accepted that offer. I am paying my installements on time. Before few days back I got a letter with my statement saying that quaterly mini. balance required is 10,000/- instead of 5000/- & also stated that if you don't want to continue then pls close your a/c. I called upto customer care & they told I've to pay charges if I want to shift ECS to other bank. Why I should suffer coz of there change? can pls tell me the wayout? | |

| Banks may change their policies regarding the account and there may be charges payable to shift the ECS from one bank to the other. If you do not want to maintain the account with the bank, the best bet is to pay the transfer charge. The other option is to preclose the loan which will involve a prepayment penalty.
