| I had made a part payment of my home loan taken from Standard Chartered in Oct 2007. I submitted a letter asking for bank to reduce my EMI considering my part payment. After a few months I noticed they were still charging me the same EMI & when i contacted the bank they told me I have not asked for a reduction in EMI. But i have a copy of the letter with acknowledgment from bank on receipt of my letter. Now when i tell thebank to reverse the EMI from the month i made the part payment they tell me its not possible and that I am the one at fault because I did not verify how much i was charged from the month after the part payment was done. Could please tell me what i can do, Thanks, Biju | |
