| I used to have a bussiness which went into huge loss i used to have 7 credit cards & ICICI Personal Loan....i had : HDFC, HSBC, SBI, AMEX, ANZ, BOB & ICICI....I did a settlement for HDFC & HSBC.....i got the settlement letter as well..... I did a parital payment for ICICI & AMEX.....I stil rcv statements for SBI & BOB...... I did a settlement for my Personal Loan with ICICI i got the settlement letter as well..... I have my account with HDFC since last 3yrs there are no check returns & i took a personal loan from GE Money iam paying it on a regular basis no returns with them they even gave me a Top up Loan..... I even got a Gold Credit Card from HDFC its been 3 months || Now if i apply for a Loan or any Credit Card they reject it saying that my records are not good || || Please suggest me wht shall i do to get my credit in got standing | |

| When you go for a settlement it is considered as a defaulter, As a defaulter you will always face some difficulty to get a loan or a credit card. The best thing which you can do is, take a credit card against term deposits which is provided by ICICI Bank and Axis bank. Build a good credit record it. It will help you to improve your credibility in your credit report which is, with credit bureau.This will help you to enhance your chances to get a loan or credit card at decent terms in future. | |
